Billy Joel- Just the Way You Are
I liked this song and bought the 45 when it came out.My mother always tried to get inside of my head by being curious about what songs I listened to or books I read.
She even thought she understood me through my poetry.
She mistakenly thought I had some deep longings for human contact.
I did not think anyone was humane and I had long since stopped considering the possibility of anyone being uncontaminated by their mindset and worldview.
I was rejected by everyone and I accepted this.?
They forced themselves on me instead of establishing meaningful relationships with me.
I suppose they thought I would be emotionally starved and would accept anything on any terms from anyone.
